Want to achieve your fitness goals? Try setting SMART goals.
SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
These criteria help you set goals that are clear, trackable, and achievable. For example, instead of just saying “I want to get healthier,” try setting a SMART goal like “In the next two months, I will increase my current average step count from 8,000 steps per day to 10,000 steps per day.”
This goal is specific (increasing step count), measurable (you can track your progress), attainable (it’s a realistic goal), relevant (it contributes to your overall health), and time-bound (you have a deadline).
Next time you set a fitness goal, make it SMART!
